Have a duration field on all screens instead of just start and end dates.
When we are creating a Gantt off of an SOW, the SOW only deals with estimated duration (in hours/days/weeks). It would be great to have the duration field present on all screens so we can easily add/edit this. For example on List view when we are putting in all the tasks, we should be able to say 'starts on this date, for a 10 day duration' and the system would automatically calculate the end date from that. Currently we have to open up end date calendar and count the days which adds up to a lot of time on large…

Lack of shortcuts
There is a lack of shortcurs. When you are becoming a frequent user of any app, you want to spend less time looking for stuffs in the menus. The doc only shows two shortcuts and I could not make the second works : http://support.teamgantt.com/article/23-keyboard-shortcuts
Useful shortcuts would be :
- Open popup and fin tasks by name
- Open popup and find project by name
- Edit task when selected
- Delete task when selected
- Open Assignee popup when task selected
- Add comment on selected task
- Upload file popup
- Switch to different view (gantt/list/taksks/time sheet/ ...)
All shortcuts should have default values but also…

Select multiple tasks
It lacks a way to select multiple tasks . With this multiselect, we could put tags on multiple tasks, move tasks to another projects in one click, assign people to multiple tasks in a few clicks.

Discussions on the left takes too much space
The discussions left panel takes too much space. THe space in the left panel should be focused around the projects only.

UI colors
THe UI colors are too fade, everything is light blue or gray, which make it hard to distinguiche the importants parts.

History window not so useful
The "History" button should not be part of the main menu bar. This should be part of a advanced setting. When you open the History window, you get all the modifications you have down in chronological order, which make it not so useful to find anything. There are too many information on the same window.

Tasks tags
We can currently put colors on tasks but that's not enough. The downside of that is that when there are too many colors, you start to forget what they mean. You could improve it by allowing to put tags on tasks like in Asana. A tag has a color and a name. This way, the color catch your eye, but the name tells you exactly what it's al about.

Completion percentage
The field to choose the completeness percentage for a task is too basic. The display in % is OK, but having to write the percentage by hand, expecially when all you need is to mark it as completed is kind of tedious. A slider widget along with a checbox to change the percentage would be nice.

General reactivity
The app is not fast enough, compared to other tools like Asana, it is sometimes really slow to switch from one view to another.

add the ability to import "resources" column and "actual hours" column when importing a CSV
When I export a csv, it exports all the columns that I'm able to map back in during the import, with two major exceptions: resources and actual hours. Shouldn't we be able to import those columns in, considering they are native fields?

Group changes on the history tab based on timestamp.
If I want to revert, I most likely want to revert all the changes made at a particular time. I'd appreciate it if History tab were groups of changes, and perhaps inside of each group, I could see granularity about what changed.

Visual Indicator where estimated hours dosen't match allocated hours
If I enter estimated time for a task can you make it show a colour - maybe Red as an obvious choice, if those hours are not allocated.
For example, at the moment I may set the estimated time and allocate this task. However later in the planning, I might change it around shorten or lengthen the task etc, and its not obvious to me if I still have all the time allocated correctly. Over large amounts of tasks it is cumbersome to check them all again.

Simplify access to Admin by adding it to the left panel.
I know, now, I can get there by clicking on the Teamgantt logo, but that seams counter-intuitive. I usually click on a company logo to find company information or to go to their home page.

Automatic task arrangement
It would be really useful if the manager could be able to edit the length of a task and have all the following tasks rearranged to the new starting date. This would do the project MORE flexible and easy for the manager to adjust to new changes.
I work for an agency, projects are always changing in matters of effort and length and this would be the PERFECT tool if we could manage all those changes easily.
