  1. graphics - edit dependency lines

    Sometimes it would be hard to see what is connected to what given the orthogonal quality of that dependency links. It would be really nice see them with curves (kind of like Grasshopper or QuickPlan).

  2. integrated milestone and task

    A lot of times gantt software will allow you to have a milestone and task together (ex. a waiting period that will end in a milestone). The team Gantt software forces you to have two separate line items for this. It'd be great to be able to have them on the same line when needed!

  3. Show dependent tasks before and after your task

    I'm always curious about what task is before mine and who I'm holding up if I don't finish my task on time.

    So a view that shows my task and the tasks that are dependent on my task (before and after) would be great!

  4. Could be very nice to be able to see all projects of one employee when we are an Admin user

    We need to be able to change assignation to manage our team correctly. People who leave the company must be removed from a project and we need to assign new one.

  5. Milestones outside of groups

    It would be helpful to view milestone dates across the entire roadmap, especially since milestones often occur outside of a particular project (like important events/meetings/checkins).

    Further, it would be helpful to see reference lines for relevant milestone indicated vertically on the timeline so you can see how those dates intersect the tasks.

  6. Customize hours/day instead of just avg hours/day

    When assigning hours to a resource on a task, it averages the hours over the duration of the task. Ability to override that and specific specific hours for each day.

  7. suggestions

    • make the left side of the screen non-clickable - the popups for comments and file attachments have way too much active area of the screen (where the screen seems to be blank). I would like to use the white space to bring up the browser window and the popups get in the way. Oh, and pleeeeeease allow for Esc key to close the attachment and comment popups and in fact all popups, it is a good practice. I hate your popups as a result of the above.

  12. Add ability to annotate date ranges.

    It'd be nice to be able to annotate date ranges as seen in my mockup:

    We use agile which requires some "hacks" to work with Team Gantt. (I've read the Team Gantt blog on Agile setups, but this doesn't work for us since we have some cycle overlaps from time to time.)

  17. provide a lightweight document that can expand from a project header to allow product/project specifications to display right in the gantt.

    Ideally, I'd like to be able to house the roadmap (gantt chart), product specifications, and a product suite map all in one place. TeamGantt is great for the gantt chart piece, but I still have to use Google Docs and Mind Maps for the documentation and product map pieces. My workflow is still very fragmented.
