Enable weekends to be set in preferences
The weekend is set to SAT-SUN, but the weekend is FRI-SAT in the UAE and THU-FRI in Oman across the border, and I've got projects there as well as the US/UK. Could weekends default to SAT-SUN but available to change in preferences? Would be happy with one setting, but delighted if we could set weekends for each project or colour-code multiple weekends for an international project.

Replace Generic Resources with Team Members
Right now in teamgantt you can make certain resources available to all projects (such as a generic "producer", "project manager", "client", "designer", etc...). MS Project currently lets you view a resource sheet and replace those generic team members with actual members of your team in one action. This is very useful for when we roll out a template of our project plans, and can just replace the generic members with the actual members assigned. I think that this would be a great feature for Teamgatt

I would find it ideal if I had a "notes" section for each task/group/milestone where I could enter a description of the what the item "means." I am using the comments now but I don't want to create a list of comments as I edit the description.
Here is an example:
I have a task called "create project charter." I would like to have an area on that task where I can provide guidance to my team on what should be included in a "project charter." My definition of this deliverable and other tasks/groups/milestones is evolving as we work through…2 votes -

Important project dates
A vertical line or different background color for important project-wide and external dates. For example background color before alpha is green and after alpha is yellow. Or a vertical dashed line for Trade Show, Payment Due, Shipping Deadline, etc. Kind of a project-wide dependency rather than task specific.

Allow everyone to access a Template project
You have to be a member of a project that has been flagged as "Template". That means all new employees need to be added manually (right?). This is overhead and error prone.
A template-project should appear in everyone's New Project window.
Considering that New project is an advanced function, I am not seeing a security issue here - it's all within one company.2 votes -

allow bulk copy of tasks...
User should be able to select multiple tasks and copy them to either (1) under another sub-group, or (2) into another project

Add a possiblity to add dependencies by a dropdown / search menu in task properties.
Drag'n'drop is a pain with complex projects with several dependencies.
It'd be nice to enter task properties and just search for predecessors by their name and add them one by one.

folders or tabs to organize gantt charts per category
I'd love if on your home page, there are folders that you can organize your gantt charts into different folders. Like "product" folder or "web" folder, so you can organize your charts.

HARVEST integration
Integrate with HARVEST time tracking. Have it automatically calculate the % complete based on project budget. It would be awesome if you could also map TeamGantt tasks with HARVEST tasks so those are updated also as a % of project budget.

Can only view dates 2 or 4 weeks in advance. I want to be able to set date parameters so I can view differently depending on audience
When I look at the plan I should be able to set date parameters to view. This is useful for MI for the project steerco.

Create a "client" role: Only view tasks & dates, don't display resources or comments
The client is invited to TeamGantt and loves the "live view" of his projects. However, our internal resource planning and discussions about availability, sickness, issues etc should not be viewable by the client.

There is currently an option to share a public link to the project. This way the person you are sending it too would not have to log in or create an account. You can also hide files and comments.
To do this, open the project and click Menu→Embed. This is where you can adjust settings to optionally hide information. You will need to create a public key. Then click “Get Embed Code”. The very last option is a link that you can copy and paste.
We need to make this easier, but at least it’s possible for now.

Labels in the gantt view
Ability to add labels in the gantt just as tasks are added.

Check all / none when sending comments
When choosing to email a comment on a task/project to users, there is a list of all project users with checkboxes, but if you want to send comment to everyone you have to check every box. Can you please add a check all / none function at the top and/or remember previous selection?

only send out DAILY PROJECT UPDATES on available (week) days
We only work MON - FRI. If days are unselected from projects there should also be no DAILY PROJECT UPDATES (in our case: on SAT and SUN).

Virtual Users
As an administrator I want to add virtual users to the system so that I can plan my resources on a new project before inviting actual real-life users (or clients) to TeamGantt.
Remarks // Add name, team, position, group, but no need for email address. User is prompted to create account only when invited. They are invited by entering their email into the virtual profile.
Also this would be useful for trial accounts where managers can play around with the trial, creating users without having to actually add new users just for test purposes.
