  1. TeamGantt is great, but a little silo'd - we really need it to integrate with other apps we use day-to-day. Dropbox, Office365, Slack/Teams, Calendar.

Is it possible to provide Zapier integration so from there we can link up with other projects.

Good news! This was just recently released to the app store for iOS!

You can view your projects as task lists on the go, add tasks, update progress, add comments, and more!

We haven’t spread the word on it yet, as it’s so new. However, we are looking for some early testers to check it out. If you are able to check it out, we’d love to hear your feedback.

    Thanks!

  4. It would be nice to have a board, where you can see the tasks/cards and where you can move them by drag&drop.

Other online-tools provide this. What's with you TEAMGANTT?
    Is this planned?

    Thanks,
    Julia

  6. Something that should be fairly simple that would speed up my task entry considerably would be to make the colour of the new task default to the same colour as the most recent colour I set for a the last task I created.

    BACKGROUND

I tend to use a convention that Grey tasks have "ball park" estimates of effort/duration and then once they've been fluffed out and rounded out then we give them some other colour.

So in that mode of setting up a new project I will be entering a bunch of grey tasks.

    Then later in another "mode…

By using the color picker in the top right hand corner of the page. All tasks added will be that color. If you wish to change colors as you go for batch groups, you can change the default color in the top right.

This should give you what you need.

  7. Have full integration with dropbox in order to share files and increase capacity for users. As well as this will help with real time sync on documents that are being work without the need to be uploading different versions.

  8. We often duplicate an existing project, or work with the template. In some projects we have identical groups of tasks. Simple example of a car dealership car delivery project. One group may be "prepare car for delivery", where in one project they may have three cars, and others six cars, for delivery. If you could duplicate a group, you could easily do this. Now we need to keystroke this. By the bye: We love TG!

You can scroll to the bottom of the home screen, and click select all project, and then click Open Selected Projects. This will open each project in one master project view.

  10. On some Gantt based Project Management tools, you can see the original project Baseline in View options. So whatever your original time planned for each task and project was you can compare to the Baseline to see if / how far the plan has slipped. I can imagine this working somehow like laying the project out and clicking Project Settings > Set Baseline.

  12. For moderately complex projects, I really need to groups tasks under subgroups. Each component of my software system is a group, and then there are design tasks that I'd like to group, implementation tasks, etc.

  13. it would be helpful to have an additional option for how calendar feeds are filtered/formatted.

specifically, the option to display Group Names + Milestones such that a calendar subscription viewed in Google or iCal would reflect the descriptive phases of a project rather than display each and every task item.

    I'm aware of this request:

    http://teamgantt.uservoice.com/forums/105753-general/suggestions/2643039-calendar-view

and while there is overlap I believe my request is more easily implemented as it requires no UI work, just some additional logic regarding how the contents of a calendar feed are constructed.

    thank you for your consideration.

  14. I think it's crazy that completed projects count against the project total. We never have more than 20 things going on at once, but it's silly that we can't archive old ones without paying for the top tier plan.

Other tools only count active projects towards your total; if this doesn't change, we'll find another tool to use :(

  16. It would be nice if as part of your daily notification e-mails there could be a section indicating whenever someone made a change to a schedule, especially a delay that affects other dependencies. It could indicate which user made the change, the original date for that task, and the revised date.

We’ve had this feature for a little bit, but finally getting around to updating this. We now have a feature that will email those assigned to the task, notifying them of the changes.

    Enjoy!

  17. I often have a series of tasks that require a single user to complete within a sub-group which repeats for each catalog drop date. it would be nice to be able to assign a group level resource to a project, and/or even a top tier project level assignment. I would like to assign the user once at a project level and have that trickle down to the task level automatically. Assigning multiple users adds them all to the entire stack within the project and adding new tasks or sub groups automatically adds the resources to the project as well.

We have a way to do this, although it’s not exactly how you describe. You can now assign resources to multiple tasks at one time.

Simply select the tasks you want, and then assign like you normally would.

    -John

  18. Our users create projects from a template. Each task in the template is assigned to a resource. For example, tasks of one type will be assigned to the resource "Account Manager" and other tasks will be assigned to the resource "Tech".

Currently, the project admin must manually re-assign each task to the appropriate user. It would be nice if this could be done in Bulk.

For example, replace all "Account Manager" resource assignments with "Bill User".

    Thanks for your consideration!

  19. When planning a project, the parties involved agree upon a time frame for each task. If a task is not completed in the agreed upon time frame, we have to note in the comments section the difference between the agreed upon completion date and the actual completion date. We do this so that it's very clear as to why a project completion date is pushed out from the original agreed upon date.

It would be nice if each task could have an actual "Completion Date" which would highlight where delays occurred or where work was finished ahead of schedule.

    Thank…
