Commenting on groups and subgroups
Could this be made possible - so you cannot only comment on tasks, but also on other items, like groups, subgroups and project title!

Change color of items and add text inside
Hi, I am P4P CEO. I suggest you to create option for choose color for each times and also to show title of items inside them. All other gant software alrdy have this feautures, there are usefull.

Select & move multiple Tasks at once

Add 'Group Names + Milestones' option for Calendar feed
it would be helpful to have an additional option for how calendar feeds are filtered/formatted.
specifically, the option to display Group Names + Milestones such that a calendar subscription viewed in Google or iCal would reflect the descriptive phases of a project rather than display each and every task item.
I'm aware of this request:

Fix email encoding
I'm a user from Slovakia. We use special characters as "ščťžú" etc. Instead of "Analýza I. - Štruktúra" i get "Analýza I. - Å¡truktúra". Can you please support central european encodings? utf8 would help or cp1250 (windows-1250). thx

Button on Dashboard to "Select All Active Projects"
More often than not, the person using this will want to see all active projects. And our projects are not huge, but there are dozens of them. She'll want to see all of them at one time, and it's kind of a pain to individually select them every time. Otherwise, loving the trial of this product. I think it could really help us.
3 votesFrom the new dashboard, you can now select “select all projects” and all projects in the respective status will be selected. Then click Open Selected Projects to open them all together.

let "view only" users comment
I'd love to use TeamGantt for my clients. I don't want them to move tasks or edit resources but i need them to comment on tasks (and commenting on files would be great as well).

Comment on project
Right now you can comment on individual tasks within a project. But it would be great if you could just make comments related to the entire project. If you could see it from the dashboard that would be great. It would be like having a big whiteboard that you can communicate on.

Filter should show parent items of displayed tasks
When displaying tasks using a filter, all parent items of the tasks should be displayed, i.e. including the group names of each group in the hierarchy to which the task belongs. Typically these group names have information needed to identify the context of the task. It appears that this is partially implemented, in that major group names are shown, but it appears that lower level group names are not shown. As a result, the context of the task may not be understood when displayed in a filter.

This has been completed. We have an option called “Hide Completed” that will hide any completed task/milestone.

Provide more visible support
- How do I correct the spelling of my name? When I created the account I did not capitalize my name but the software now inserts the lower case name on the chart as a resource. How do I edit to include capital letters?
- How do I eliminate dependencies? Your video showed an option to click a box but when I pull up the box there is no option to delete. It talks about adding but not deleting

1 vote1. Name corrections can be made to both the user and the company by clicking Admin in the top corner. For user, click: Edit Profile. For Company, click Company Details.
2. You can remove dependencies by clicking the edit pencil next to the task’s name or bar. In the popup there is an option to remove existing dependencies.

Suggestion
Question for your team. Currently with your set-up you have to connect each individual task. Do you have plans for the future to be able to highlight all tasks and select connect?
1 voteThis can now be down. Select multiple tasks, and then hit SHIFT+D. This will link all the tasks in the order they were selected.

I don't lik having to use Gravatar for the profile picture.
Just another account to sign up to...It would be better if it was custom upload to your servers or use a well established system like Google accounts. It is also odd that the option to set it is not in 'Account Settings', but is in the 'Comments' section of a project task.
1 voteWe’ve moved away from Gravatar and now users can upload their own image by clicking Admin in the top corner and then Edit Profile.
