The ability to Lock Task Timeframes to Track Estimated Completion Date vs Actual Completion Date
When planning a project, the parties involved agree upon a time frame for each task. If a task is not completed in the agreed upon time frame, we have to note in the comments section the difference between the agreed upon completion date and the actual completion date. We do this so that it's very clear as to why a project completion date is pushed out from the original agreed upon date.
It would be nice if each task could have an actual "Completion Date" which would highlight where delays occurred or where work was finished ahead of schedule.
Thank…
1 voteWe do have a feature that supports this. Have you checked out baselines?

Reassign Tasks in Bulk for One or More Projects
Our users create projects from a template. Each task in the template is assigned to a resource. For example, tasks of one type will be assigned to the resource "Account Manager" and other tasks will be assigned to the resource "Tech".
Currently, the project admin must manually re-assign each task to the appropriate user. It would be nice if this could be done in Bulk.
For example, replace all "Account Manager" resource assignments with "Bill User".
Thanks for your consideration!
1 voteTask Assignments can now be assigned in bulk. Once you have all the tasks selected, you will be able to manage resource assignments normally.

Don't count completed projects against project total.
I think it's crazy that completed projects count against the project total. We never have more than 20 things going on at once, but it's silly that we can't archive old ones without paying for the top tier plan.
Other tools only count active projects towards your total; if this doesn't change, we'll find another tool to use :(
1 voteThis has been included. Completed projects no longer count against you.

allow nested subgroups
For moderately complex projects, I really need to groups tasks under subgroups. Each component of my software system is a group, and then there are design tasks that I'd like to group, implementation tasks, etc.
1 voteThis feature is already supported. You can find details about it here: http://teamgantt.com/support/getting-started/advanced/#subgroups

sub tasks
This product has a simple way of assigning tasks to a process on the timeline... http://www.timeliapp.com/
1 voteTeamGantt does support subtasks/subgroups. Here is a link to a support article on the issue:

Project Baseline
On some Gantt based Project Management tools, you can see the original project Baseline in View options. So whatever your original time planned for each task and project was you can compare to the Baseline to see if / how far the plan has slipped. I can imagine this working somehow like laying the project out and clicking Project Settings > Set Baseline.
1 voteBaselines are available. You can get to them in Menu > Baselines. Here’s a link to a blog post on them: http://teamgantt.com/blog/2012/06/06/baselines-now-supported/

Please make it possible to duplicate Groups.
We often duplicate an existing project, or work with the template. In some projects we have identical groups of tasks. Simple example of a car dealership car delivery project. One group may be "prepare car for delivery", where in one project they may have three cars, and others six cars, for delivery. If you could duplicate a group, you could easily do this. Now we need to keystroke this. By the bye: We love TG!
