Hi
Has anyone tried exporting a MS Project as CSV and importing into TeamGantt please?I join the list of people who ideally need the MS Project to Team Gantt import feature!
Cheers

Hi Kristin,
Unfortunately, we don't have any update on this at the moment. We do have the ability to import/export CSV files if you are able to convert your MS Project file to CSV.

Any update on being able to import/export to MS Project? We're trying to convince our design firm to switch over to Team Gantt but they want this feature.

I created a script to import our Microsoft Project (Excel export) into Team Gantt. I threw the code up on github here:

Is the CSV import feature available now?

We are currently working on a CSV import that should be out in a few weeks. Assuming that you can export your MS Project file to CSV this will be a good start. After we get done the CSV import we have a few other features to work in. Then we want to come back to add other file types such as MS Project files to the import.

Any further discussion or development intent on this one? Would be extremely helpful in flipping the organization to this tool. Would ease startup. And, of course, would really explode your support requirements, since then you're flooded with the "my import didn't work" issues...

I'm trying to convince my company to switch for MS Project to TeamGantt and having an import feature would be helpful as 'seeing is believing'.

This feature, especially import, really reduces the risk of trying TeamGanntt, which makes it easier for me to convince my team to try it. Our biggest difficulty with MS Project is maintaining the schedule after it has been created. It seems like the slightest change causes the schedule to explode. This stifles feedback because people become reluctant to update the schedule.

important when you need to make the switch, either a current plan or take old plans from MSProject and reuse them in teamgantt.

This would be really usefull to me. Lots of people ask for a MS project version file to be integrated in a big one (for example)
