Milestones should not take up 1 day of time
There's no point to use Milestones when they push an entire project back 1 day due to dependencies. Allow them to overlap somehow. Thanks!

Workarounds are possible but it makes Gantt charts look weird.

+100 to this feature. I am building a Gantt chart right now where I am having to do weird and wonky thinks with dependent tasks because the Milestone date can't overlap with the dependent task's end date. For example, if I want to give 1 week to a task like "Write discovery doc" and the milestone is "Discovery doc written," I have to make the task 4 days instead of 5 just so the Milestone can sit on the 5th day.
It assumes a) that all tasks take a full day to complete, and b) that a task and a milestone can't begin or end on the same day.

Milestone shouldn't have any time !!!!!! -

A better feature request which will get you this feature, is to support the one for 'end to end' and 'start to start' dependencies. Then you can sit milestones underneath your final task and have an 'end to end' dependency with that task

I'm surprised most people aren't raising more of an issue about this. How can you use milestones effectively when they add time by themselves, rather than showing when the task they reflect is actually complete?
