Allow a task or milestone to be marked as "locked." so that it doesn't automatically move when other dependent tasks move.
I often have a hard launch date that can't change. When I adjust dates along the way, it's a real pain to have to keep moving the final launch date back to its original position.

This is a basic feature that most Gantt chart solutions have.
I can't believe this was requested back in 2012 and has not been implemented yet...10yrs waiting on such a simple feature - wow :)

This is a must! A lot of projects are planned around fixed delivery or event dates, so missing this feature makes TeamGantt a lot less valuable.

Yes please, really need this feature as deadlines for external vendors are normally hard deadlines.

I create two milestones for this. One is dependent on its predecessors the other not. The independent one stays on its date and you can see when other task changes have pushed out the dependent one, so you can adjust these to meet your fixed launch date

Seriously, I tried to plan my project for almost 1 year in advanced. It is virtually impossible, because all dependencies are moving like hell. Fixed start/end dates for tasks/milestones are a must.

This one is so needed!!!Specially for milestones - I really don't want my milestones to be moved.
