If you have a larger project and let us say use Stage-Gate V-model as the baseline for your project this is based on Stage-Gate 0-8 (your phases) - between every Stage, there is a decision to be made between Project Manager and Steering Committee, in this case, R0-R8 -those are important pieces to have an overview but also needs to be configured with dates for meeting with Steering Committee.
