I think it would be great if we have a notification button on the menu bar like Facebook notification system.

Add ability to annotate date ranges.
It'd be nice to be able to annotate date ranges as seen in my mockup:
http://imgur.com/IRZplTiWe use agile which requires some "hacks" to work with Team Gantt. (I've read the Team Gantt blog on Agile setups, but this doesn't work for us since we have some cycle overlaps from time to time.)
This is our current hack :(

Zoom slider or +,- buttons
Instead of the existing dropdown zoom menu, it would be much more intuitive (and faster) to have a slider or at least a plus and minus. I understand a little more thought would be needed between the daily or weekly views but you could figure it out or toggle between the two and when toggling back and forth, the closest view between the two would be the default toggle.

.. remove the lingering face pointing to chat support
This is too obtrusive, even possibly distracting and annoying. It would be better to show a face only upon explicit user action to access support.

Allow date labeling for sprints
Add a row or highlight the dates or somehow use design to highlight separations/groups of dates to allow users to define Agile Sprints.
For example, there should be a thicker separation between May 1st and 4th, as well as May 15th and 18th to denote a 2-week sprint that lasts from May 4th through May 15th.

provide a lightweight document that can expand from a project header to allow product/project specifications to display right in the gantt.
Ideally, I'd like to be able to house the roadmap (gantt chart), product specifications, and a product suite map all in one place. TeamGantt is great for the gantt chart piece, but I still have to use Google Docs and Mind Maps for the documentation and product map pieces. My workflow is still very fragmented.

Making Brainstorming & Planning easy
When adding a new task, one currently has to move to the left side of the screen and find the "+" Icon to create a new task.
When Brainstorming a project, this is a severe techno interruption.
Thats why brainstorming steps in a plain text editor or excel is so enjoyable. The brain doesnt get distracted/ doesnt have to >look for something<For Gantt, one solution could be:
Adding a task with a double (or triple) click right where it is needed.

Export improvements!
-Be able to view full description, so it doesn't cut off the text.
-Cut off the bottom part of the timesheet, so you don't having half a page with empty columns.

Clean gantt export for presentations
Handling of export as pdf is already quite nice! Even better would be an option to export the gantt tasks on clean white color without table columns from left site for usage in presentations.

It would be helpful if we had an option in our email settings to email us when our assigned tasks begin, rather than right before they are due. By then we should know when the deadline is, and if we get the emails for when we're supposed to begin a task, we actually have enough time to complete them with the reminder.

To make some option that will allow NOT to hide certain "100% completed tasks".
Make another filter like "finished" that will allow to mark task/group as 100% complete, but still be visible on a schedule.
Sometimes I have too many "completed" tasks, that after unhiding them all - my schedule is a mess. But usually - I still want some recently accomplished tasks to be visible.

Use SVGs for all images instead of PNGs
This will make the small images more clear on all displays. This can be done in about an hour.
