  2. in gantt view -- A) drag via two break lines or points at opposite ends of each bar -- or B) the ability to click anywhere on the bar and see one or two anchor points -- for a high level view of a task that has many components or stages before finally complete.

2-stage example: "plan" stage, left from the only anchor point to the start point in diagonal stripes, and "execute" stage, as is, one solid color. Can relate to % complete as well, plan 80%, execute 20%.

3-stage example: "Plan", "build" (execute), "plus "test" stage, right from…

  7. Currently you can size / position a task by dragging. Maybe adding Ctrl-Click-Drag to set it's percent complete right on the Gantt. I have graphic of the idea I will try to add.

  8. Hi, I´m using 13 inches full HD display (ThinkPad 13), but I can't see Gantts on it. Would it be possible to make this resolution usable?

  9. When tasks have been finished I don't want to delete them because they have useful comments in them. I also don't want them cluttering up the user interface so I can't see what's relevant.

So what I currently do is to move them into an Archive project. This takes a while because you can only move them one at a time, or move them into a new group and move the group.

What would be really useful is to be able to select Archive or Move to.. in the same menu that edit and delete appear.

  14. When I expand the Availability at the bottom of the Gantt View such that it covers about the lower-third of the screen, I cannot vertically scroll down far enough to see the lowest tasks on the chart. The Tasks are there, but the availability chart hides them. Is there a way to increase the vertical scrolling limit so that this will not be an issue? I'm using Chrome Version 63.0.3239.132 (Official Build) (64-bit) on a MacBookPro.

  16. The client is invited to TeamGantt and loves the "live view" of his projects. However, our internal resource planning and discussions about availability, sickness, issues etc should not be viewable by the client.

There is currently an option to share a public link to the project. This way the person you are sending it too would not have to log in or create an account. You can also hide files and comments.

To do this, open the project and click Menu→Embed. This is where you can adjust settings to optionally hide information. You will need to create a public key. Then click “Get Embed Code”. The very last option is a link that you can copy and paste.

We need to make this easier, but at least it’s possible for now.

Please let me know if this helps or if you have more questions. Simply respond to this email with your feedback.

    Thanks!

  17. When resources are entering time it would be great if they could select it to be overtime, travel time and weekend time.
In addition, it would be convenient if they could choose to add time which is not directly on a project, i.e. for training, illness, etc.
With these tools you would be able to do the full resource time booking in a single system without the need for an additional time tracking tool.

In addition to this it would be handy to schedule planned holidays of resources. So you can have a better overview of the resource availability.

  18. I often have a hard launch date that can't change. When I adjust dates along the way, it's a real pain to have to keep moving the final launch date back to its original position.

  19. Have the ability to show where in the project you are when exporting to PDF i.e. Today's date highlighted vertically down the chart like the blue bar in the browser.

  20. The ability to add your holidays to a calendar within your account tab which then feeds through to all projects timelines. Or the ability to add more than one item on each line.
